Highlights of YMCA Annual General Meeting 2017

The YMCA Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday, 25 May 2017 at YMCA of Singapore.

During the AGM, Mr Eric Teng, President, YMCA of Singapore, shared highlights from the various areas of YMCA’s work in serving the community in 2016. The Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2016 and the 2016 YMCA Annual Report were also adopted by the members.

Four members were elected to serve a 4-year term on the Board. They are Mr Steven Chia, Ms Loo Tze Lui, Mr Thomas Pramotedham and Ms Cynthia Tan Guan Hiang.

In the first Board meeting for the year 2017/2018 that was convened immediately after the AGM, the Board elected the following as Office Bearers for the year 2017/2018: 

Mr Leslie Wong Kin Wah (President), Mr Ooi Boon Hoe (Vice President), Mr Albert Ching Liang Heng (Vice President), Mr Bryan Tan Suan Tiu (Honorary Secretary) and Mr Tan Eng Beng (Honorary Treasurer). 

The Board also co-opted two members to serve a 1-year term. They are Mr Gerald Tay and Mr Adrian Tay.
